Hooder & Stoughton London - First edition - Hodder & Stoughton, no date. Large 4to. Original decorated red cloth gilt extra, extremities a trifle rubbed, Pp. viii, 235, with 20 tissue-guarded tipped-in coloured plates. -

Condition: corners and spineback ends are all bumped and worn. And there is a hole in the edge of the spine back (see the 1st picture). The hinges are cracking at both the front and back inside flyleaf. But all the color plates are intact and gorgeous as is most of the book. Color and gilt blindstamped cover is clean and bright. Page edges have only light soiling.
