This is a true story and the illustrations are delightful. This ia a drama written in verse and illsutrated as a play that children can perform. A vividly dramatized example of what can happen to our envrionment due to "unanticipated consequences". 

DDT wiped out mosquitos, lizards and cats on Borneo - until some parachuting pussycats came to the rescue! (yes I said TRUE STORY). Fantastic illustrations! There are just 21 copies of this listed on various bookselling sites and most are not in the beautiful condition.
